Risk Control Partner

You and your job

As Risk Control Partner you are responsible for ensuring FEC continuously improves its Risk Management Framework globally.

You facilitate the incorporation of all aspects of the  Risk Management Framework (including Compliance) into the day-to-day activities of the FEC departments.

As RCP you act as a change agent for risk management within the first line of responsibility. You ensure that the way in which FEC manages its risks globally is both efficient and effective while acting within its risk appetite. As such, your role is a strong position of influence and responsibility in the adoption of a strong risk culture globally.

Your top 5 responsibilities

• Building and maintaining subject matter expertise on the various operational (library) risks and the risk control framework.
• Being point of contact for questions from the RCP and alignment with second line of risk policy and (library) risk owners, other stakeholders within CRO (in the change and monitoring) and Internal Audit.
• Leading the assessment and implementation of relevant changes in policy, procedures, library risks, risk control framework and reporting – usually with/via the RCP – to the FEC departments globally.
• Responsible for executing Risk & Control Activities of generic/central themes.
• Checking controls.

You and your talent

• A completed HBO+/WO bachelor in a relevant field like economic or business studies;
• Preferably, you have 5+ years of relevant work experience with risk management;
• Experience with senior stakeholder management, high organizational sensitivity, integrity and reporting to senior management;
• Preferably, you have a network or background within Rabobank;
• Fluent in Dutch and English, verbal and written (Native English speaking/writing is a plus);
• Social skills are above average, connect easily and can formulate clearly and to the point;
• Above all; you have a positive presence, and you are eager and a fast learner and team player.
