The primary purpose of the project is to manage the bank's provision data. Our batch applications, which are Java-based, run on Azure Linux VMs and are scheduled using Control-M.

Your job

You will be part of the Corporate Credits grid at ABN AMRO, focusing on building and maintaining an Azure infrastructure. This role will leverage your deep understanding of Azure and networking to ensure robust and secure deployments.

In this role, you will design, develop, and implement infrastructure solutions using Azure technologies. You will work with tools such as ARM and Bicep templates. Your responsibilities will include optimising infrastructure security and ensuring efficient resource management.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will serve as a bridge between Business Developers and Development Engineers, explaining the impact of development changes by understanding the functional significance of the data, such as its implications for finance and accounting.

You will be part of a diverse Agile/Scrum DevOps team with end-to-end responsibility for developing, managing, and maintaining functionalities prioritised by the Product Owner.

You will use:

• Azure basics: Account setup, tenants, subscriptions, resources, and resource groups.

• Azure networking.

• Networking security.

• Azure SQL Relational database.

• IaC using ARM and Bicep templates.

Soft skills required:

• Fluency in English.

• Excellent communicator who can convey technical concepts clearly.

• Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks with a positive attitude.

We are offering

The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If no purchases or reservations are made in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
Five weeks of holiday per year, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
Personal development budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
