You will develop, implement and maintain the governance structures for FEC W&R in alignment with the global FEC internal governance framework, while safeguarding the fulfilment of local and global regulatory obligations.

The FEC W&R Governance & Strategic Change Oversight team guides and supports the FEC W&R department across all regions and locations with regards to FEC strategy, governance, oversight and change matters. Furthermore, we manage and coordinate the many interactions between the global FEC pillars (CDD, TM, Sanctions and other) and the regional FEC Operations teams to create a transparent, efficient and collaborative work environment.

As FEC W&R Governance & Change Oversight Officer, you will work closely with the regions as well as the global FEC strategy and governance teams to steer on translation of and adherence to the FEC internal governance framework and strategic enablers. You will roll out new structures and facilitate the FEC W&R governance bodies in the execution of their processes. You play a role in organizational change projects and look for improvement and simplification opportunities to realize standardization and efficiency in FEC W&R, whilst contributing to our position within the global FEC domain.

Making a difference

  • You will develop, implement and maintain the governance structures for FEC W&R in alignment with the global FEC internal governance framework, while safeguarding the fulfilment of local and global regulatory obligations;
  • You will play a pivotal role in further developing and implementing the FEC W&R Target Operating model and related RACIs into our organization;
  • You will organize oversight across FEC W&R with regards to operational data as well as project progress and you contribute to the analysis of the observations across different regimes, turning observations into steering recommendations for FEC W&R management;
  • You will act as a sparring partner for management and stakeholders centrally and in the regions regarding governance and organizational strategy in FEC;
  • You coordinate and support meetings including setting up governance and structure.
  • You play a role in (strategic) change projects to move the implementation of various organizational enhancement initiatives forward.

The FEC W&R department is positioned to deliver strong operational execution, management, governance and oversight while steering on standardization and continuous improvement in relation to FEC execution in the W&R regions. Key objective of the department is to ensure the W&R regions act in full compliance with all applicable standards and ongoingly adhere to regulatory developments, both in design and in operational effectiveness, while fulfilling local and global regulatory obligations.

Analysing, advising, planning & organizing and taking initiative for turning insights into actions are essential for this role. Commitment to continuously delivering high quality in your work and being stress resistant are among your strengths. In addition, it is important that you recognize yourself in the below:

  • Academic education / level of thinking and working, with at least 5 years of banking experience preferably in the FEC domain.
  • Good understanding of organizational design and governance practices;
  • Proven project management skills;
  • A critical mind-set with a pro-active hands-on approach and can-do attitude;
  • Excellent communication skills and (proven) organizational sensitivity;
  • Experience in working in a complex, global stakeholder field;
  • Knowledge of Financial Economic Crime processes is considered very beneficial;
  • Proficiency in English (and preferably Dutch) (oral and written)

  • A salary of € 4.292,40 up to € 6.130,64 gross per month (scale 9) depending on your experience and expertise.
  • An Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions or even receiving a monthly cash payout.
  • A thirteenth month and holiday pay.
  • Flexible working times and location-independent working (within the Netherlands).
