Who you will work with
Nationale-Nederlanden Bank is the fast-growing banking division within the broad financial services provider NN Group and focuses on mortgage lending and various types of savings and investments for retail customers in The Netherlands.
Nationale-Nederlanden Bank is in a state of flux. Due to the strong growth in recent years, we are working hard to integrate processes and systems and make our joint bank stronger. Our ambitious growth plans, changing regulations also create a lot of challenges for all departments and certainly also for Regulatory Reporting.
You will join a team of ten professionals who will be involved in change and reporting to the regulator. Outside the team, you will work closely with, among others, the large project that is still ongoing (as mentioned earlier), the Bank's regulatory monitor and the Risk department. For example, we regularly spar about complex issues, such as new implementations or migrations.
We find each other for substantive knowledge sharing and we regularly update each other on current affairs.
Every morning the team starts with a Daily (day start) to go through the planning and details. Then our chat is open all day, on which we share everything with each other. So, despite working from home (2 days at the office), we have many contact moments with each other. This way you can also easily indicate whether you need help or whether you have certain wishes in terms of development. Along the way we learn a lot from each other and we have regular reflection moments where we reflect on the dynamics in the team and what we can improve as a team to work together even better.
